Some of JMA's students participated in the Martial Arts Athlete Day last weekend, presented by HYPER and WAIMA. It was a great day showcasing lots of tricks, great martial arts, enthusiasm and the benefits of different martial arts disciplines coming together. Watch the video below to see some of the amazing talent on show and to hear our very own Mr Moland and Mr Luthwood being interviewed!

For those of you who missed the piece about Chloe Fergusson last night on Sixty Minutes and her sisters crusade against bullying follow the link below. With the age of social media we must be aware as parents, siblings, friends and as a community that bullying does not just stop in the playground. Educating ourselves on how our children are using social media is massively important. If any of our students or their families are experiencing bullying we urge you to talk to us, your parents or call a helpline -
YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND WE WILL STAND WITH YOU!

JMA would like to officially welcome our Saturday morning adults taekwondo instructor Colin Niland. Mr Niland brings a wealth of knowledge to the Club with an extensive background in Aikido, Judo, Karate and Taekwondo. Our Saturday morning class 9am-10am has been running for awhile now and his energy and enthusiasm has rubbed off on us all. We would like to thank Mr Niland for his involvement with JMA and his passion for martial arts!
